"Swirling Snake" - Zoo Project (2013)
In this project, I first sketched the outline of the ball python to get an idea of what to do for the assignment. Later, I decided to "colorize" the sketch with graphite by applying more or less pressure depending on the color of gray I wanted. The image does not depict all the details on the snake, but there are essentially a ton of miniscule circles on the snake to establish the texture of the python's skin. Enjoy!
