In this assignment, I decided to draw the snake instead of the other two animals the zoo brought in. I was fascinated but the patterns on the snake so I decided to draw it. I started by sketching the shape and form of the snake and placing in the pattern of the snake. After having all the general sketches in, I started shading and adding texture by drawing individual small circles throughout the whole of the snake! Honestly, the texture took me a long time to create, but I'm glad I chose to add in such a texture because I am really satisfied with the way the piece came out. In this assignment, I only use a pencil for the sketching parts and an eraser for the shaded areas. I hope you like the piece!
